I started DJing in the early 90s, and progressed onto computer-based sound design for choreography and theatre, producing my own sounds as well as remixing existing tracks.

as a DJ, I play all sorts of music, mainly focussing on downtempo or backroom styles. I have supported many bands, and have experience of radio broadcasting.

Sound design for theatre includes work for:

National Theatre Wales
Sherman Cymru
Tanja Råman
Jem Treays
Deborah Light
28 degrees dance

Stush and Cloudberry are rhythmic sketches, built from various collected audio loops. Cloudberry features sounds made by processing the voice of Phillippa Reeves.

The Road is a remix of the theme from the movie (of the same name) originally written and recorded by Nick Cave and Warren Ellis. I took this track as a starting point and extended it for a dance piece choreographed by Tanja Råman. A video of the piece can be found here.

Blaenavon to Tokyo is an edit of a live soundtrack I made for a research project with National Theatre Wales. We worked with some of the tour guides and ex-miners from Big Pit National Coalmining Museum. This track is constructed from sounds collected at pit head in Blaenavon.

What People Want and Secret Journey are from ShermanCymru's youth project - Kontakt, directed by Phillip MacKenzie.

The Queen's Revelation, The Queen Is Dead and Mass are selected from the score to Oedipus and Antigone that I created for ShermanCymru in 2010.
