Strings of Light

An ongoing research project, working with musician Osmo Hakosalo to create projection installations and performances that involve mapping onto a kantele – the traditional Finnish instrument.

We are developing interactive systems of layered sound and small-scale projection mapping, using natural imagery and field recordings to create a very Finnish experience, combining ancient traditions with digital media.
